Javakh Summer Camp
Javakhk Camp Program began on July 1 and will continue through July 14 with 52 participants this year.
The Javakhk Summer Camp is of great importance, as it helps strengthen the national identity of Armenian children from Javakhk by providing them with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Armenian culture, history, language and traditions. At the same time, the camp promotes physical activity, encourages a healthy lifestyle, fosters social and communication skills, builds teamwork and creates lasting friendships. Through a diverse program of educational, cultural, recreational and sports activities, participants gain new knowledge, valuable experiences and unforgettable memories that contribute to their personal growth and strengthen their connection to their Armenian heritage.
The family of Levon Manukyan was displaced from Artsakh and is currently engaged in agricultural activities in Kapan.
Recently, a landslide damaged the water supply system serving their farmland, placing the family at serious risk of losing their upcoming harvest. This situation could have had a significant impact on the family’s income and further aggravate their socio-economic challenges.
The family was provided with a water pump to irrigate their land and prevent the loss of their crops.
Before receiving this assistance, the family had appealed to both governmental and non-governmental organizations for support in obtaining a water pump, but unfortunately, they had not received a response.
Levon and Lala sincerely express their heartfelt gratitude for the prompt response to their request and for this vital assistance. The water pump has enabled them to irrigate their land, protect their harvest, and continue supporting their family through agriculture.

Fabric and supplies were purchased to make dance outfits for the participants at Prkutyun.

On the occasion of the Holy Easter, the SOAR Charitable Foundation extended its support to around 40 lonely elderly individuals and persons with disabilities living in Vanadzor and nearby villages.
This support is truly vital for them. Many of the beneficiaries live in extremely poor conditions—in houses or temporary shelters—often lacking even basic living necessities. Therefore, the assistance provided was extremely necessary and timely, significantly easing their daily hardships.
